Creating a Classic Curl: Hold the iron vertically and secure hair high on the barrel, midway up the strands. Rotate the clamp away from the face using your thumb and forefinger. Once the curl is complete, it will easily slip out of the clamp.
Achieving a Wave or Bend: Hold the iron horizontally and wrap a hair section over the clamp away from the face. Allow the ends to protrude by 1'' (2.54 cm). Hold for 3-5 seconds, then release the clamp. Gently tug on the ends while the hair is still warm.
